You are my King and my God. You command victories for Israel. Psalm 44:4
God is our Commander and Chief. The great thing about this command is that he orchestrates only victories. There is no mention of defeat. If we follow the commands of our chief, we cannot lose.
Now there may be times when you feel defeated. There may be times when victory seems impossible. The battle may be intense. We may face great challenges. There will be tough battles ahead. But know that God does not compromise total victory. He will not stop until his enemies are trampled underfoot. If you stick with him, you have nothing to worry about. He will win the day.
It is critical we obey his marching orders. At times his marching orders may not seem practical. There might seem an easier path to victory. But the Lord sees the battle field from a different perspective. We see a limited perspective, but he sees the whole picture. So we step in faith, trusting that God knows what he is doing and if we stick with him we will stand in glorious victory with him.
